  • Hairstory New Wash

    New Wash

When New Wash became available, it met every one of my beauty requirements. I have used it for 10 years now. New Wash is formulated to even out porosity, which is great for sunkissed and colored hair, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. Their products protect hair color with gentle cleansers that don’t strip the scalp. It’s biodegradable, perfect for your eco-adventures. I will use it to wash my face and shave my legs, cutting down on other consumption. New Wash has greatly improved the condition of my scalp.

  • New Wash Deep

I recommend Deep when you live in an area with hard water or heavy minerals. The apple cider vinegar base clarifies the hair and helps balance pH. It’s great for sensitive scalps that are prone to psoriasis and seborrhea. New Wash Deep is great for the skin behind beards and sideburns and can be used as an antifungal treatment.

  • Powder

After many many years of experimenting with hair powders, I believe HairStory’s Powder to be the best out there. It gives tons of texture and volume to clean hair and you can keep building with it for days. When I am unable to wash my hair, a good brush and Powder keeps me going.

  • Undressed

I love Undressed for a curl refresher in the morning. It is a non-drying surf spray so you get the benefits of some grit and hold without the drying effects that salt can sometimes bring.

  • Balm

Although I prefer a natural, low-product look, Balm is a great companion for air-drying. It is versatile and provides great curl separation while drying. Balm is also great for separating ends and fantastic for short hair, enhancing texture and dimension to cropped looks.

  • Milk

I would describe this silicone free product as liquid gold in a bottle. Milk not only smells divine from the botanicals, but when I use this on my ends, they feel like butter with the softest of sheens. Without being oily, Milk keeps the hair hydrated and you can apply it to dry or damp (my fav) hair. My clients are intoxicated by the smell and the way it makes their hair feel.

  • Mare

I love this fine mist salt-spray. It is perfect. The way Mare disperses from the bottle gives you the opportunity to build and see how far you want to go. It feels like the ocean in a bottle and even gives you a little shine. Mare thickens and increases volume and I love to use it with Hairstory’s Powder.

  • Cake

This restorative scalp tonic is great for hydration, especially in the winter when it really soothes a dry and itchy scalp. After I apply Cake with the dropper, I give myself a scalp massage and finish with a brushing ritual. I have noticed a boost in new growth with continued use.

  • Brush

    Lastly, the brush!

All of these products become more successful with the right brush. Daily brushing can properly distribute your natural oils into the hair and create a healthier scalp ecosystem. Classically mixed all-vegan bristles sit in a rubber cushion bed with a beech-wood handle. While some brushes have a tendency to break hair, these bristles allow the brush to pass through tangles while working for all hair types including kinky and extra curly hair. This amazing brush is the perfect opportunity to create or enhance your own daily beauty ritual.
